Income & Spending
A page for every real movement of money — income, expenses, and transfers between your own accounts — with filters to look back by account, category, type, and date range.

Why transfers are separate from income and expenses
Moving money from a bank account to your cash wallet makes you neither poorer nor richer. Recorded as an expense on one side and income on the other, your monthly spending would balloon. Keeping transfers as their own type stops them polluting real spending totals.
Making the filters work for you
- Filter by category to see what food actually cost this month
- Filter by account to trace where one account's balance went
- Filter by date range to compare month against month
Recording in a way you will keep up
Most people quit because they try to capture every last coin. What lasts is recording only what matters first, then getting more granular once the habit holds. Incomplete records kept consistently beat complete records that stopped in week two.
