Feng Shui for Home & Shop

Describe your home or shop — which way the door faces, where the bedroom sits, where the counter is — and get arrangement advice with the reasoning attached. It separates what only needs furniture moved from what would mean structural work, which deserves much more thought.

What kinds of space it handles

The more detail you give about the layout, the more specific the advice. "A one-bedroom condo" alone will only produce generalities.

  • Homes and condos — door orientation, bed position, kitchen and bathroom
  • Shops — entrance flow, till position, and aisle layout
  • Offices and desks — which way you face and what sits behind your chair
  • Rentals where structural change is impossible — arrangement-only fixes

Why much of the advice sounds sensible

A great deal of feng shui guidance coincides with ordinary design principles: do not block walkways, let light in, keep air moving, let someone seated see the door. Those improve a space whether or not you believe in energy. Where a recommendation rests purely on tradition, it is written as coming from tradition.

Limits to understand first

Feng shui has several schools that can give different answers for the same house. Do not knock through a wall, move a bathroom, or reposition a door on the strength of this page. Structural work needs an engineer or architect, and in a rental you must have the owner's permission first.

What it costs

Billed by actual use — Points first, then Credits, with an estimate shown before you run it.

Frequently asked questions

I do not know which way my home faces.
Stand at the front door with your phone compass and note the direction you face going out.
Do I need a floor plan?
No — a written description works, though more detail gives more specific advice.
It told me to move the bathroom.
Skip that one. There is always a no-demolition alternative included.
