How to phrase the instruction
Say clearly what must change and what must stay. "Change the background to a beach but keep the person and their clothing exactly as they are" works far better than "make it look nicer" — a vague instruction lets the model change things you never wanted touched.
Rights to the source image
Only use images you own or have the right to use. Editing someone else's photo does not make it yours, and edits to pictures of people should have the subject's consent first.
