First frame, last frame, and reference images
The first frame is where the clip begins and the last frame is where it ends — supply both and the system builds the transition between them. Reference images only guide style and how the subject looks; they are not frames in the clip.
Getting a good result
Ask for motion the image can actually support. For a person standing still, hair and clothing moving in a light breeze works much better than asking them to walk out of frame. The more change you request, the more the model has to invent what was never in the picture, and details start to break down.
