Why they have to be made per channel
Platforms use very different ratios, and more importantly they crop differently on mobile. One image reused everywhere usually gets cut until the important text disappears. Choosing the channel first keeps the key elements inside the safe area from the start.
Keep important text away from the edges
Edges are the first thing cropped when the screen size changes. Shop names and key messages sit more safely toward the centre — and it is worth checking on a real phone before committing.
Banner claims must be true
The system uses only the text you supply and invents no promotions or discounts. Banners advertising discounts that do not exist are a problem both with customers and under consumer protection law.
