Purchases
A page for recording purchases into the shop. Each entry adds to stock and recalculates that product's average cost from what you actually paid for this batch.

How average cost works
Say you hold 10 units at 100 each and buy 10 more at 120. The new cost becomes 110 per unit. Using an average means you never have to trace which batch a sold unit came from — something almost no small shop can realistically track.
What you can use it for
- Record stock arriving from each supplier
- Let product cost update itself instead of doing the maths by hand
- Look back at who you bought an item from and at what price
What it costs
Free — no Points or Credits are consumed.
