Sales
A page for recording individual sales. When you save one, the system deducts the quantity from stock and works out that sale's profit using the product cost as of the sale date, not the latest cost.

Why cost as of the sale date
If past profit were computed with the latest cost, last month's profit would change every time you restocked at a different price. Locking cost to the sale date means older sales stop moving.
What happens when you record a sale
- The quantity comes out of stock immediately
- Profit is calculated as the sale price minus the cost on that date
- The amount lands in that month's shop overview right away
- You can link it to a customer to see their purchase history later
What it costs
Free — no Points or Credits are consumed.

Register the product first — the system needs its cost to calculate profit.

Yes, and stock and profit are recalculated from the correction.
